EEA
Germany, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg and other suitable EEA work are assessed under the applicable GDPR processor, subprocessor and international-transfer requirements.
International delivery
Syntix normally delivers remotely from Lahore, Pakistan. For Germany-based engagements, DTechFarm in Berlin can be part of the agreed delivery setup.
Where we work
Our current commercial focus includes Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the UAE and selected opportunities in France, Luxembourg, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. DTechFarm is a separate Berlin-based partner. Where it is involved, the engagement states which company is responsible for which part of the work.
Some regulated or location-restricted workloads need a different setup or may not be suitable for remote delivery from Pakistan. We check that before accepting the work.
Different countries have different rules
Germany, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg and other suitable EEA work are assessed under the applicable GDPR processor, subprocessor and international-transfer requirements.
Switzerland has its own data-protection law. Swiss projects are handled under the FADP rather than treated as EEA/GDPR work.
UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other suitable Gulf work is checked against the transfer, sector and customer requirements that apply in that country.
Data location and access
A Microsoft tenant can be hosted in Europe while an engineer in Pakistan can still access personal data remotely. If that access creates an international transfer under the applicable law, the required processor terms, transfer mechanism and safeguards have to be dealt with before live access is granted.
If a client does not allow production personal data to be accessed from Pakistan, the work may need synthetic or anonymised data, client-controlled deployment, sanitised diagnostics or another approved setup.
Before cross-border access starts
We confirm any customer, sector or location restriction before privileged access is requested.
Processor, subprocessor and transfer terms are documented where the work requires them.
Financial, healthcare, government, critical-infrastructure and other regulated workloads may need a different model or additional review.
Working hours
We agree working-hour overlap, named contacts, escalation routes and status updates for the actual engagement. We do not advertise 24/7 coverage unless a specific contract provides it.
